This morning after breakfast, you will meet your driver and guide and start your day with a visit to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. This is one of the largest and most interesting museums in the country with an amazing collection relating to Vietnam’s ethnic minorities. Carefully presented tribal art, artifacts, and everyday objects from across the nation make up the collection, as well as exhibits of traditional village dwellings. After the museum, you will have lunch at Bun Cha Huong Lien restaurant is run by one of Hanoi’s most prominent families. In May 2016, former US President Barack Obama dined here with celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain! After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Literature, built-in 1076. Vietnam’s first university was established within its walls to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins, and members of the elite. The university functioned for over 700 years and its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s past. You will then visit the Temple of the Jade Mountain, known locally as Ngoc Son temple, in the center of Hoan Kiem Lake. Finally, you take a ride in a cyclo through Hanoi’s Old Quarter to admire some of the city's French architecture. During the ride will also visit some typical communal houses restored by UNESCO.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

I've just started the process, but Tilly has been very helpful and has a great personality that puts a traveler at ease. I think the paperwork has just begun so I can't give an overall rating of the whole experience. So far, so good.
