Anne Grant (Argentina Glacier Adventure, Jan 2008)
We decided on this at the very last moment and Jonathon was very helpful.
Pedro ,our guide, was full of enthusiasm and we enjoyed him alot.
Aurelia cooked us great meals at the camp, and We were given wonderful box lunches each day- far too much - but i ate it all and gained 3lbs, even tho hiking so far!
JoAnn Hofheimer (Argentina Glacier Adventure + Patagonia Panorama + Pure Patagonia, Dec 2007)

Marian Sole (Awesome Argentina, Apr 2008)
Juan, Augusto in Ushuaia and Leo in Puerto Santa Cruz were outstanding in knowledge of flora, fauna, geography of the area and extremely friendly.
The dinners laid on in Puerto Santa Cruz - homemade cooking by Marcella were superb and the best of the trip.
The combination of "Fin del Mundo", Atlantic Patagonia and Perito Moreno was great and gave us a real sense of the immensity of the country, the different geographic areas as well as the chance to see Penguins, Rheas, Flamingos and Condors without going to a zoo!
Virginia Sole-Smith (Awesome Argentina, Apr 2008)
All of our guides were knowledgeable and charming — even early in the morning! I can't believe how hard they work to make every day great.
The home-cooked meals by Marcella in the local restaurant in Puerto Santa Cruz were Out Of This World great, as were the BBQ lunches during our treks in Tierra Del Fuego (can't beat steak cooked outside!) and our dinner at Galpon Glacier Estancia in El Calafate. The restaurants in Ushuaia were more mixed, however, and in general, I found the breakfasts to be a little on the light side, given how active our days were. I was always starving by lunch!
This really was an outstanding trip all around! Right up there with our wonderful Macchu Picchu/Peru trip last year. Can't wait to do another!
Robert Ivry (Awesome Argentina, Jan 2008)
The local guides were spectacular, the highlight of the trip. They were both knowledgeable and fun. The guides in Ushuaia were especially great, but Santa Cruz guides were very warm and attentive.
You did a fantastic job. This was one of our most memorable trips. The trip combined beauty, adventure, and the warmest friendliest people anywhere. We plan to use you again; to return to Argentina and maybe Brazil.
Jeff Sherz and Rachel Mele (Awesome Argentina, Mar 2007) This trip through Iguazu Falls was also remarkable-especially as we knew nothing of the repelling or zip lines that awaited us. Also very special was the glacier mini-trekking in El Calafate. We had never had crampons before or had this type of exhilarating opportunity and experience. We had a wonderful time. Argentineans were helpful and quite appealing. If the world were not so big we would definitely go back. Great trip! [ Back to Top ] -- End of the World --

We were glad we did the tours through you as we could not have seen all we did on our own. Having personal guides to ourselves much of the time was an added bonus. We had misgivings about our safety which were unfounded. We found the people wonderful and found only in the plazas etc was extra caution advised. We found an American tourist we had met earlier wiping a liquid off himself in the Congress Plaza in B.A. He had fended off an attempted robbery. The availability of safes in almost all our hotel rooms meant we didn't have to risk much loss in a robbery or pick-pocketing. We had read concerns about getting money from ATM's. In fact they were everywhere and we never once had to use one in the street.
Jessica Wrobel (End of the World + End of the World, Jan 2008)
The food at the Eco Camp was my favorite. It was cozy and simple and complemented the stay very nicely.

Yes, and more. Chile- Torres del Paine was a great trip, I was blown away by the beauty and the adventure. I have never felt so alive hiking through Torres del Paine, and coming home to the EcoCamp at night with the best food I have ever tasted. A perfect way to spend a vacation, wouldn't you agree?
Buenos Aires and Iguazu were amazing as well- I would recommend this trip to anyone! [ Back to Top ] -- Iguazu Falls --

My trip aboard Via Australis far surpassed my expectations. Truth is, I didn't know what to expect! But, the accommodations were great (roomy rooms; nice/hot shower; comfortable bed; beautiful view), the staff was so knowledgeable and friendly, and the cruise attracts a nice group of fellow passengers. I was traveling by myself and easily met people and felt totally at ease.

Agusta Landetta o could not have done a better job putting together an informative and extremely enjoyable tour of wineries and the gastronomy of the areas. Phillipe, his driver was extremely courteous and a careful driver. The vehicle was in great condition and very comfortable and roomy. They were the BEST!!!
Robert O'Connell (South American Wine Country, Oct 2008)
I just want to thank you for setting up this tour for the O''Connell's and the Putnam's. You were very helpful and really convinced me that Adventure Live was not like any other tour company.
Special thanks for selecting Slow Tours, they were absolutely the best! They knew the people, the food, the lodging and most importantly the Chilean Wine better that anyone could ever expect.
Thanks for making me look good, I set up this tour and persuaded the other couple to come along. You made me look like I really knew what I was doing.
Thanks again, really appreciate all your help and we will spread the word about Adventure life.
Shirley Wright (South American Wine Country + Easter Island, Aug 2008)
The Chilean wine country was beautiful. Many of the wineries were relatively new and featured incredible architecture and grounds. Each was carefully selected to be somewhat different so we were not repeating the same experience. The techniques used differed in small details from place to place. Many of the wines were unique, with robust, well-developed flavors which would only improve with maturity. [ Back to Top ] -- Taste of Argentina --

Gustavo in Salta was amazing!!! We have already raved about him...our driver Fernando was also spectacular. They were both so professional, smart, enthusiastic, we could go on! From the cooking class to the places Gustavo chose to Yacutinga Lodge....they all went above and beyond to accommodate our vegetarian needs & the food was delicious!!!

Mary Jane and Thomas Tiedeman (Taste of Argentina, Mar 2007) Thank you Adventure Life for organizing a wonderful trip. Every connection worked and the hotels were small, but interesting and in great locations. They were exactly what we had hoped for. Our travel companions were two delightful ladies who shared our sense of adventure and were great fun to be with. We can't say enough about Emiliano Gomez-a memorable man who showed us places, people, foods, music, art, and landscapes we could never have discovered on our own. [ Back to Top ]
