Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
This morning transfer to Puerto Bandera where you embark a boat headed to the Upsala Glacier. After a short navigation, cross the Devils throat into the Brazo Norte. Observe different blue colors sailing among icebergs and stunning scenery overlooking the western front of the Upsala glacier. At the extreme of Cristina arm we disembark at Estancia Cristina to enjoy the afternoon. You will have the chance to visit the Costumbrista museum, an old shearing shed with sheering traditions to show. During your time here, ascend in 4x4 vehicles along 9.5 km of mountain roads to the Continental ice shelter. Enjoy a 30 minute walk to one of the most fantastic viewpoints the South Patagonian Ice-field. Here we can spot the oriental front of Upsala Glacier coming down from the field, the Lake Guillermo and the Andean peaks of southern Patagonia. Return back to Estancia Cristina and embark your boat to return to Puerto Bandera and on to El Calafate.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!
